We went on a large family trip to San Diego for my mom’s 60th birthday. I don’t think there’s any wrong time to go to San Diego; our trip fell in October and the weather was beautiful! It was supposed to be low 70s, but it felt more like high 70s and was nice and toasty.
We started our weekend by walking along Pacific Beach. The beautiful beach was to our right, and to our left, giant, yet cozy, jaw dropping vacation homes.
That night, we went to dinner and drinks on the beach at Draft. It’s right on the beach so we had an amazing sunset view as we chomped away on delicious garlic fries, beers, and yummy entrees.
The next morning, we met everyone at Balboa Park at 11:30 which was so cool! Balboa Park consists of 1200 acres with so much to see and do (a lot of it being free).
Saturday night, we went to Raised by Wolves which was such a great experience! It’s a cocktail bar similar to a speakeasy with beautiful interior and delicious drinks. They also had their own version of the game Clue which was a lot of fun.
There was so much more we wanted to see and do while there, but it’ll just have to wait until next time!
